“Erika Kirk and Turning Point USA Sue George Soros for $800 Million — Claiming Billionaire ‘Orchestrated Online Smear Campaign’ Against Charlie Kirk”
WASHINGTON, D.C. — BREAKING: In a move sending shockwaves through political and media circles, Erika Kirk, wife of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, has announced that Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is filing an $800 million lawsuit against billionaire financier George Soros and several affiliated digital advocacy groups.
According to the 178-page federal complaint filed Thursday morning, the conservative nonprofit accuses Soros of “coordinating and financing an online defamation campaign” designed to “irreparably damage” the reputations of both Charlie and Erika Kirk, and to “cripple the influence of Turning Point USA in the national discourse.”
At a fiery press conference held outside the organization’s headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, Erika Kirk declared, “He orchestrated an online smear campaign against Charlie that was the worst. He must pay for it. This wasn’t just trolling — it was targeted digital warfare.”
The Allegations
The lawsuit names Soros personally, as well as three digital media nonprofits allegedly funded through the Open Society Foundations, accusing them of using “dark money” networks to amplify false and defamatory narratives about Charlie Kirk.
Among the specific claims are:
- Coordinated disinformation campaigns across X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and TikTok;
- Algorithmic manipulation designed to suppress TPUSA content while promoting “anti-conservative narratives”; and
- The use of bot farms and paid influencers to associate Kirk’s name with “racism, extremism, and misinformation.”
The complaint alleges that these efforts “resulted in measurable financial damages” to TPUSA’s donors, advertisers, and brand partnerships — and, according to Erika Kirk, “nearly destroyed a movement built on empowering young Americans.”
“We’re not talking about criticism or debate,” Erika said. “We’re talking about cyber warfare. They tried to erase my husband’s name from the internet and silence millions of young conservatives who believe in freedom.”
Turning Point’s Bold Counterattack
Founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA has grown into one of the most influential youth-focused conservative organizations in the country, hosting massive political conferences and influencer events. Over the years, it’s drawn both admiration from right-leaning audiences and intense backlash from liberal watchdog groups accusing it of spreading “radicalized misinformation.”
But the Kirks say the attacks escalated dramatically in late 2024, after TPUSA launched a campus initiative supporting border security and parental rights in education. Within weeks, they claim, thousands of identical social media posts — many linked to fake accounts — began circulating under the hashtag #ExposeTurningPoint.
“The timing was no coincidence,” said TPUSA attorney Gregory Harlan, who is leading the lawsuit. “We traced the activity to digital firms with direct ties to Soros-backed organizations. This wasn’t spontaneous outrage — it was engineered narrative warfare funded by billionaire influence.”
The Soros Response

Representatives for the Open Society Foundations have dismissed the lawsuit as “a baseless publicity stunt,” accusing TPUSA of attempting to “intimidate critics and silence independent journalists.”
A spokesperson for Soros said in a statement, “Mr. Soros has never directed or participated in any campaign against Mr. Kirk or his organizations. These claims are conspiratorial and frivolous, intended to stoke political outrage rather than seek justice.”
However, TPUSA’s legal team insists the evidence speaks for itself. In court filings, they cite a “data trail” of coordinated media buys and bot activity, allegedly connected to Soros-linked advocacy networks in Eastern Europe and the United States.
“This is bigger than one lawsuit,” said Erika Kirk. “This is about exposing how billionaires manipulate the public narrative — and showing the world that you can’t destroy people just because you disagree with them.”
Political Fallout
The announcement has ignited fierce debate online. Supporters of TPUSA hail the lawsuit as a “historic stand against digital corruption,” while critics accuse the group of exploiting the culture war for fundraising and attention.
“Finally, someone has the guts to call out Soros in court,” one TPUSA activist wrote on X. “This isn’t just politics — it’s accountability.”
Meanwhile, liberal commentators mocked the move as a “PR circus.” One viral post read: “When the facts don’t go your way, sue a billionaire.”
Despite the noise, insiders say TPUSA is confident. The group reportedly assembled a legal team of prominent defamation attorneys and cybersecurity experts to pursue the case.
“Truth isn’t partisan,” Erika said before walking away from the podium. “If you use your power to destroy honest Americans, you’ll be held accountable — no matter how rich you are.”
The first hearing is expected in early 2026.
And as one political strategist noted:
“This isn’t just Turning Point vs. Soros. It’s the new front line of America’s information war.”
